Kismat and Adam met while working at the same law firm. Adam proposed on a Monday, which completely threw Kismat off. He pretended to have a work event to attend, and asked her to accompany him last minute. They went to a rooftop restaurant at a hotel and walked to the terrace where Adam had beautifully decorated an arch with lights, flowers and arranged pictures of them and then he proposed!
These two are such genuine, kind people. They checked in with everyone else on their wedding day, to make sure everyone was having a good time. We lucked out with their October wedding not to have a ton of snow, and their Canmore Sikh wedding was well organized. I love when couples get a chance to have their wedding somewhere unique. It can be a lot to have a Sikh ceremony and reception all in the same day, but somehow this wedding day didn’t feel too long. An intimate group of family and friends attended, so it was easy for Kismat and Adam to chat with everyone. Planning a wedding from out of town (these two were living away and/or traveling during most of the planning!) can be stressful! The vision that Kismat and Adam created came together perfectly. It was an amazing weekend in the mountains!
