Todays weddings comes to you from The Living Sculpture Sanctuary with the stunning Angelica and Matthew. These guys were so much fun to hang out with for the engagement shoot that I knew their wedding day was going to be fantastic. The chosen venue for both the ceremony and the reception is one of my favourites, the Living Sculpture Sanctuary. It really is a hidden retreat from the hustle of South Florida. A stunning place with gentle waterfalls, bonsai and koi ponds that emerge from its lush setting in centuries old live oak trees.
Firstly, let's go back a little, back to how it all began! Matthew and Angelica chatted on a dating app and decided to meet up at Kanpai for sushi and sake but with friends. Within the first week of dating they knew!. Their relationship was mostly long-distance because he was in the US Navy. The challenges they endured made their relationship unique. Their proposal story is really cute. It was New Year's Eve and they went to Miami’s Pitbull New Years Eve celebration in Biscayne Bay. He went down on one knee and shocked her with a proposal. And that brings us to today. After an emotional first look and the most stunning Tea Ceremony, Angelica & Matthew said their I do’s in the presence of their dearest family and friends. The outdoor ceremony at The Living Sanctuary just added to the beauty of the day. This pair are so clearly in love and it really made my job a dream! They smiled, they laughed and we took the most beautiful photographs.
